Girls Rock Glasgow hosts an annual 9-day Summer Rock School, where young people dive into music, creativity, and performance. Over the course of the programme, participants learn instruments, form bands, design artwork and merchandise, write original songs, and take to the stage with their new bandmates.

We welcome up to 50 young people each summer, supported by our passionate team of musicians, volunteers, and mentors. Rock School goes beyond technical music training. Covering everything from instrument maintenance, songwriting, and live performance, to yoga, mindfulness, and music herstory - helping young people build confidence, creativity, and community.

The experience culminates in our legendary Graduation Show, where participants debut their original music in front of a live audience, unleashing their inner rockstar.
